I transferred from Mt.
San Antonio College in 2002. But I had such a good experience
the first time around that after graduating from UCLA,
I returned to Mt. SAC. The teachers and the education
you receive here are top notch.
At first, I couldn’t
afford UCLA, so I came to Mt. SAC in 2001. It was a pleasant
surprise. You get individual attention you can’t
get elsewhere, and the scholarships and grants I received
with help from the College’s Financial Aid Office
assisted me toward my educational goal.
Even after I graduated
summa cum laude at UCLA with degrees in sociology and
international development studies, I remembered my experience
at Mt. SAC.
Today, I’m taking
five foreign language classes at Mt. SAC, participating
on the Forensics Team, and serving as the student government
vice president. I have plans to go on to graduate school,
work for a relief organization in a Third World country,
and eventually work for the United Nations.
But I’ll always
remember where I got my start. I recommend that students
come to Mt. SAC first.
