Unit Requirements:
For the Associate in Science (A.S.) degree, 60 degree-appropriate
units with a letter grade of “C” or better
in all courses is required. For the Associate in Arts
(A.A. degree), 60 baccalaureate-level (transferable) units
with a letter grade of “C” or better is required.
A.A. majors include Social & Behaviorial Sciences,
Fine Arts & Humanities, Language Arts & Communications,
and Natural Science & Mathematics.
Petitioning:
All students must file a petition for graduation with
the Admissions & Records Office and have on file all
required documents and transcripts. The deadline dates
are on or about the second week in March for Spring and Summer graduation.
Students also have the option of filing a graduation petition
one semester prior to completing all coursework.
